The mediators at BBKWmediation are all MfN-registered mediators.
The Mediatorsfederatie Nederland (MfN) is the umbrella organization in which the large national associations of Mediators have united. The organization MfN has contributed to the organization and professionalization of the mediation profession since 1995 as the authority in the field of mediation and provides quality assurance through the MfN register. The MfN is the government’s permanent discussion partner when it comes to embedding mediation in society, the professional group of mediators and monitoring a quality standard that matches the increasing relevance of mediation in the Netherlands.
Only mediators who meet the strict training, quality and maintenance requirements of this foundation are entitled to call themselves MfN-registered mediators.
MfN-registered mediators are bound by the MfN Code of Conduct and are required to declare the MfN Mediation Rules applicable to each mediation. They must comply with a complaints procedure and are subject to the disciplinary jurisdiction of the Stichting Tuchtrechtspraak Mediators.
