What is mediation?

Mediation is a form of conflict mediation in which people solve their conflict themselves with the help of a mediator as a neutral, independent and impartial mediator. The mediator restarts communication, guides the negotiations and monitors the process.
Both your personal and business interests are considered in the mediation process.

In addition, more (creative) solutions are possible in mediation than in legal proceedings. Practice also shows that mediation leads to a faster and better solution. The solution is not imposed by the mediator. The parties themselves determine what the solution looks like and only agree to it once they have agreed to it themselves.
Moreover, because the solution better suits the wishes and interests of both parties, it also lasts longer.
